Davion plans to document the historical genealogy of the Geechee / Gullah culture through multidisciplinary execution. Through still life, text, and photography he will address the thoughts of the Gullah community toward gentrification and their diminishing culture, as well as to bring respect to a generation who are on the cusp of losing its identity. He will be frequently visiting his hometown McIntosh County to gather information on the island.
