Description
Life After Dark is an ongoing series of nighttime projections that use guerilla art tactics to present projected video pieces consisting of imagery and prose that is 'out of context'. Like graffiti, the pieces will confront people when and where they least expect it, and in a context and format that are wholly unfamiliar to them. The intent of the project, as is the intent with all Demetriou's work, is to take the viewer's headspace and perspective into an unexpected, different, and abrupt direction; a direction that hopefully fosters a mental refuge of reflection and empathy.
