atrahasis will be a stop-motion film about pollution, more specifically the pollution of our oceans and waterways. Shawna-Marie Walker under her stop-motion collective, Cardboard City Shorts, aims to build their characters and set with everyday items and recyclables. Cardboard City Shorts' mission is to continue to create sets and productions that are as sustainable as possible.

This story follows a couple living by an ocean that is gradually becoming more polluted. The couple consists of a fisherman and a gardener. The film will showcase a montage of their relationship and their daily routine which consists of waking up, pulling out the small row boat, and fishing in the sea for their daily meals. Along with this, the other partner harvests the produce from their garden while tending to its upkeep. At the end of each day, they come together for a meal which is the result of their labor. Over time as they continue this mundane tradition, the pollution slowly decimates their property, food, and ultimately their bodies. The film aims to be social commentary on the importance of keeping our waterways safe and clean and will demonstrate the effects that pollution has when we don't.
